This ropeway connects JR Sakuragicho Station and the Canal Park in the Shinko District. The ropeway is fully air-conditioned, making it comfortable to ride even in the hot summer months.
The ropeway operates until 10:00 p.m., so you can enjoy the scenery of Yokohama during the daytime, and at night you can admire the sparkling night view.
In addition to being a convenient means of transportation, the gondolas are approximately 630 meters long, allowing passengers to enjoy a 5-minute trip in the air.
Each gondola accommodates eight passengers and travels 630 meters one way in approximately five minutes. The maximum speed is 9.0 km/h, and the highest point, about 40 meters above sea level, offers spectacular views.
The designed lighting up of the cabin, station building, and support pillars creates a beautiful night view.
It is attracting attention as Japan’s first urban ropeway (urban ropeway). Please visit and enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable walk in the air!
